For dessert, indulge in our exclusive sweet creations by Executive Pastry Chef Puti Firmansyah and chocolate master Kirsten Tibballs. Together, they have re-imagined the old Provence tradition of the 13 Desserts of Christmas.
These 13 desserts were traditionally placed on the table at the end of the Christmas Eve supper for all guests to share, as a way to bring good luck and good health for the year to come. Ingredients typically included fresh oranges and mandarins, dried fruits and nuts, chocolate mendiants, white and black nougats, honey and calissons d’Aix (a traditional lozenge-shaped sweet from the town of Aix-en-Provence, made of marzipan and candied melon). Get ready for our modern take on these ingredients – the perfect finishing note to your Christmas feast!
