In addition, our Executive Pastry Chef Puti Firmansyah and chocolate master Kirsten Tibballs will present exclusive sweet creations inspired by the old Provence tradition of the 13 Desserts of Christmas. These desserts were traditionally placed on the table at the end of Christmas Eve supper for all guests to share, as a way to bring good luck and good health for the year to come. They usually include fresh oranges and mandarins, dried fruits and nuts, chocolate mendiants, white and black nougats, honey and calissons d’Aix, a traditional sweet from the town of Aix-en-Provence, made of marzipan and candied melon. The perfect finishing note to your Christmas feast!
